How Flamify handles named characters, real people, deepfakes, and copyrighted worlds.

Named characters and copyrighted IP

Flamify does not host characters drawn from copyrighted intellectual property. This includes:

• Named characters from a series, comic, game, show, or film (e.g. “Naruto”, “Lara Croft”, “Hermione Granger”).
• Recognisable storylines, locations, or fictional worlds that belong to a specific franchise.
• Scenarios that instruct the user to “play as” a copyrighted character.
• Visual likenesses that are clearly intended to depict a copyrighted character, even if the name is changed.

What is allowed

• Original characters in the style of a genre. Cyberpunk noir, magical academy, isekai-adjacent, space opera — all allowed.
• Characters that evoke a vibe or archetype without using protected names, storylines, or visual identities.
• Genre tropes, narrative structures, and setting conventions that are not themselves copyrighted.

Parody and transformative use

We leave narrow room for parody, satire, and clearly transformative work that references a copyrighted property without reproducing its specific characters or storylines. We apply this narrowly and case-by-case. When in doubt, the character will be rejected with an explanation, and the creator can adjust and resubmit.

Real people

Characters that are, depict, or are recognisably modelled on a real person are prohibited. This rule is detailed in Prohibited content → Real people and in Principles → Real people are off-limits. The rule covers:

• Celebrities, athletes, public figures, politicians, internet personas.
• Private individuals (named or visually identifiable).
• Fictional characters whose appearance closely matches a specific real actor or model (deepfakes, face-swaps, or AI-generated likenesses).

Why this matters

The harm of non-consensual depiction scales with the realism of the model. Modern image models produce output that can be indistinguishable from a real photograph. Allowing real-person likenesses on a platform that generates adult content would mean non-consensual intimate imagery by default. We don’t do that.

Trademarks and brand names

Characters should not be branded with real company logos, trademarks, or brand names in a way that implies endorsement or official affiliation. Generic references to real-world products, companies, or locations in a narrative context (e.g. “she ordered a coffee at the café”) are fine.

DMCA and takedown requests

If you believe content on Flamify infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us at the address listed on Contact. We process valid takedown requests in accordance with applicable copyright law. Repeat infringers are subject to account termination.

User-created content

Characters and content you create on Flamify are your creative work, subject to the Terms of Service and the policies on this site. You retain the rights to your original creative input. AI-generated output is subject to the license terms described in the Terms of Service.
