When to appeal
You can appeal if:- A chat message was stopped and you believe the stop was applied incorrectly.
- Content you created was removed and you believe it did not violate the Prohibited content policy.
- Your account was warned or suspended and you believe the action was based on a misclassification.

What happens next
The team reviews your appeal against the current policy. Possible outcomes:- Upheld — the original decision stands, and we explain why.

What we learn from appeals
Appeals are one of the best sources of signal for improving the moderation system. When an appeal reveals that a classifier is triggering incorrectly, the case feeds back into rule tuning. The work you put into explaining the issue does not go to waste. What is not appealable
Rejections for the following hard-limit categories are not overturned:- Content involving minors (
#sexual_minors) - Content facilitating real-world crime (
#weapon,#drugs,#extortion,#manipulation) - Terrorism (
#terrorism)
