# Age requirements

# Age requirements

> How Flamify keeps the platform 18+ on both ends.

Flamify is an **18+** platform. We enforce age on both ends:

* **Users** must be 18 or older to use the product.
* **Characters** must depict adults. See
  [Prohibited content → Minors](/policies/prohibited-content#minors--underage).

## Users

### Sign-up confirmation

New accounts confirm that they are 18 or older as part of registration /
onboarding. Access to mature product features is predicated on that
confirmation.

### Jurisdictional identity verification

Where local law requires highly effective age assurance (for example, under
applicable Online Safety / eSafety regimes), Flamify will route users in
those jurisdictions through an approved third-party age-assurance flow
before unlocking mature features.

  Replace this section with the live vendor and flow once identity
  verification is enabled for the relevant jurisdictions (provider name,
  what signal is retained, what is *not* retained). Until then, baseline
  18+ confirmation at sign-up plus character/content controls remain in
  force.

### What we aim to store (when ID verification is live)

## Characters

* Character age is schema-enforced at **18–100**. Under-18 ages are rejected
  at create / update time.
* Appearance age buckets for generative portraits start at adult ranges
  (18–24 as the youngest bucket).
* Image negative prompts always include child / underage / teen blockers.
* Sexual content involving minors is a hard **STOP** in chat moderation.

## Suspected underage users or content

If you believe a user is under 18, or that content depicts a minor:

1. Use the [reporting flow](/reporting/how-to-report).
2. Suspected-minor reports are prioritised over other queues.
3. Substantiated cases lead to content removal, account action, and — where
   required — reporting to child-safety authorities.
